Okay, so that was a bad date. I know it, you know it, we've both been through it now. I'd like to apologize for my part in making things weird and uncomfortable when they didn't have to be. I'm really sorry for being so nervous and awkward.
While I can't imagine a reason you'd agree to this, I'd love to try again with you sometime next week. If you think about it, there's no way it could be worse than the last one. I really enjoy your company and I'm interested to learn more about you. I'm sorry I did such a poor job expressing that the first time around.
