I am apologizing publicly for my actions toward {Name}. My words regarding {topic} were false and came from a place of {bitterness/resentment/pain/etc.}.
I don’t expect {Name} to forgive me or my lies, but I want the world to know that everything I said in regard to {incident/context} was a lie. In reality, {truth}.
I’d also like to apologize to our {fans/readers/constituents/etc.} for any hurt or distress my words and actions have caused. I understand that many people were understandably triggered by what I said, and I deeply regret the pain I have caused.
