I am deeply appalled with my own behavior in regard to {action/words}. I was rude, callous, and selfish.
I’m aware that my {fans/constituents} look to me to set an example, especially for our youth, and I have fallen short. I do not want to be a person who mocks {other public figures/rivals/etc.}. I want to be better than that.
I know that {target of unacceptable behavior} is {not as described}. It was wrong of me to imply otherwise.
There is truly no excuse for my behavior. I hope that {Name/community} can find it in their heart to forgive me. I vow to do better.
