Upon personal reflection, I would like to extend an apology for how I used my influence to {achieve result}. At the time, I didn't feel that it was inappropriate for me to leverage my {connections/funds/etc.}. I've been reading a lot about privilege lately and realizing how much I hold, not only in the relevant situation but in respect to society as a whole. I hope that you can forgive me for my misstep, and trust that I truly desire to grow as a human being.
