I don't know if you saw this coming (I didn't), but I've decided to step down from volunteering at the animal shelter. I have the key to the front door that I'd been issued and can get it to you at your convenience, or I could drop it through the mail slot if you'd like.
I'm so sorry about this! I really enjoyed my time with the cats, but my workload has changed and I find myself having to cut back on my volunteer activities.
You can still count on us for occasional cash donations, of course. And please let me know if you ever need any help at events. Or, I could help with press releases or media promotion, as I have a background in marketing.
I also know of a few families who expressed interest in volunteering, and I can put you in touch with them.
