I would like to once again apologize for the incident between you and {Dog's Name}. {Dog} has never bitten anyone before, nor behaved aggressively in any way. Still, that does not excuse the fact that {he/she} bit you, which I'm sure was a painful and traumatic experience.
I have worked very hard to train my dog to be calm, loyal and obedient. I assure you that I will take steps to make sure that this type of behavior does not happen again. I would also like to pay for your {doctor visit/treatment/etc.}.
Attached are copies of {Dog}'s rabies and vaccination records, all of which are up-to-date. Again, I am so sorry that this happened to you.
